I wasn't planning on getting a rig quite yet but the opportunity presented itself and well, sometimes you just have to run with it when an opportunity comes along.

I took delivery of my new rig today. It is a 1984 Toyota Coaster.

She (all vehicles are she aren't they?) ticks most of the boxes.

Diesel, 5 speed, 200 watts solar on roof, 2 starter batteries, 2 house batteries, comfy double bed at rear, 2 burner gas hot plate, sink, 3 way fridge, air conditioner, microwave, 2 water storage tanks, long range fuel tank, shower (outside), toilet (portapotty), heaps of storage space, large rear access boot, bull bar, tow bar, driving lights, UHF Radio, reversing camera, plus some extra goodies I am yet to discover.
