Not gone Yet - I said in the Pick this Place we would be away now.

A hiccup with holiday plans.  Small I hope.  We were all packed up and ready to go and hubby says the pressure is down in one of our tyres we'll swing by the tyre place on our way out of town.  Anyway the tyre place says tyre okay but the nipple extension is loose and leaking air.  All fixed and pumped up again.  We have nipple extensions on our 2 inside back tyres.  Anyway, hubby said on leaving I want to go home and get a couple extra spanners  (we're live only 10 mins drive from the tyre place) and when he walks to the shed at our place he notices a small puddle where our MH is usually parked and on investigating sees that it is oil.  S.... I think we have a problem, so back to the tyre place because he knows what's caused the problem.  You don't jack up our MH in the middle at the back.  The instruction book says so and I think hubby told them that too and guess where it was jacked up.  The plate has been buckled and the seals damaged and the differential is leaking oil and they had no gasket to fit our MH.  Hubby has headed back now as new gasket is supposed to arrive 10.30 this morning and guess what, that tyre has gone down again too.  We had tyre pressure monitors and the nipple extensions fitted on Monday.  So hubby is at the tyre place and I am at home killing time.  We had a nice picnic lunch at Federation Park 15klms out of town yesterday which we drove to in our car.  Seeing that I made it we weren't going to waste it by sitting at home.   It's annoying that we'e not out and about yet, but very pleased that we are at home and not out on the road somewhere.  We're heading to SA from SE Queensland when we get going.

Hubby home, MH fixed free of charge as their mistake. A hole found the the tyre and an apology from the chappie who did the original jacking up. So all's good. We're going to leave soon and go a bit down the road. Looked at weather forecast and decided to throw in a some more warm clothing. Wet and cold through NSW over the next few days by the looks of it. Cheers.
