Hello robby, we have a 3kilo auto washer we use when in showgrounds. If free camping use a bucket and hand wash

A 20lt sealed bucket placed in the shower recess on that non slip mat whilst travelling works a treat. Missus use Earth laundry liquid says it doesnt need rinsing and is happy with the results .

I have a big basin and on a fine day put cold water in it with wool wash and wash the old fashion way, by hand and wring out by hand. 30 mins later all hung on a line between car and van drying away. I don't have to rinse by using the wool wash. Works for me.

If I am near a washing machine I will use one and if a public one I put a Laundry Sanitiser in the final rinse.

I use an ecoball - no soap so no rinse. Put with water & clothes in a barrel in the ute when travelling or just leave to soak then hang out to dry.

Not to keen on your idea of doing your washing in the river.........look after the environment a bit .......what you should do is take the water out of the river and wash it in your bucket........dispose of the water quite a way up the bank so it soaks through the dirt....a great filtering system.....

If you have access to 240v one of these works well...Local supplier on Ebay for about $85.00...look on ebay "Caravan washing machine".

Hello Robbie

When travelling solo I more or less do what Dougwe does, which is to just wash the clothes in a basin, at the sink

When travelling with the wife, we just put the used clothes in a large sealed plastic box container, and go to a Laundromat, when the container is full

Up until now, I was unaware that using some products, allows you to hang the clothes without rinsing them.
I am happy to have learned something new today, so thanks for that, to those concerned
