Well it's nice to sit in front of my I pad after weeks in places Telstra can't or won't transmit to.
We have been resting up over on the foreshore's of Nigerloo reef at Exmouth WA.
being out of town the reception is hit and miss, unless you want to stay up till 10.00pm every night, due to all the folks wanting to use the WiFi not.
Well we have rested most days, plus long walks along the beaches flicking the lures as we went. The total catch,4 coral sand flathead, five golden Travelly. Plus Sea Garfish supplied by our friends Ray & Gwenda from Perth.
We departed Exmouth for Carnarvan last Saturday for a 2 night stay before heading to Quobba Station and the Blow Holes.
Well trouble has struck us for a second and third time. The second time came in the form of our water pump in our new van giving up the ghost.(Lambie not happy). So back to Carnarvan this morning but not before I noticed a slight bulge in the right rear tyre on the van.( Some say why carry so many tools on ones trip) We had a 3 inch piece of fencing wire protruding from the tread. Out came the Ryobi angle grinder to cut it off just below the tread. The psi read 15psi. Out came the compressor and pumped to 55psi.
On checking the other three tyres, they were each on 40psi. No wonder our fuel consumption got off the rector scale coming over. More on this later topic later to compare fuel consumption. All four van tyres at 55psi. Bugger their Nitrogen filled rubber stories.
We are ready to head to Geraldton for fuel, gas bottle refill, and supplies, before heading back up into wildflower country called Mulleuwa land.
We love this retirement thing. Let the good times roll on.
Warm regards to everyone.

Mmmm, maybe she got confused after reading Iana's Stud thread in 'Techies'. I can arrange for my head Brave to pay a visit. He doesn't even charge extra for a blunt scalping knife.
Keep enjoying yourself J&L.

When that lady said " She went out partying last night and had a ball, she really meant it " I may for safety reasons limit my travels to the east side of Australia.
Hey Jim. I did get your text about visiting us when you get down to Perth (we're near Mandurah). Sorry Ive been such a slack arse - but working long hours just at the moment.
Having got our van onto our new house block, theres no room for anything else. There is a caravan park about 10 mins from us and heaps around Mandurah region (very touristy).
How long do you want to stay in the area and a rough idea of when - then I'll visit a few CP's and check them out and get prices.
I'll be fairly busy work wise till 23/9 and then one of my work contracts finishes which will give me a lot more time
