Very good nice to see people traveling the Great Northern Highway and around Mullewa checking the "Wild Flowers". No doubt you enjoyed your time in this area and the spectacular wild flowers in the "Wild West".

Check WA Wild Flowers/Wreath Flowers 8/9/2015 post.

Did that trip a few years ago. Hope you did the wildflower walk near the caravan park. The old church there is worth looking at

Nice photos! Last night I pulled up at Mingenew, thinking the place would be deserted but was totally booked out. I asked some ppl what brings them there and they said they'd come to see the wreath flowers. If I'd known about them I would've gone straight from Geraldton to Mullewa, then down via Wubin instead. Today on my drive east its been pelting with rain so not such a good day to be viewing them. I'll have to save Mullewa & Coalseam for a future trip. Haven't seen any orchids except at Kalbarri....Spiders, Donkey, Cowslips and Pink ones.

Hi there Glen,

looks great from this end,

We are in Carnarvan awaiting a new water pump for our new van. Then we will be on our way again south to see yet again a great flower show.

We're leaving in the next hour or two. We'll park the van at the CP in Trayning and do day trips around the North East Wheatbelt.

We didn't go to the wreath flowers near Perinjori this year, but I was told by the Info Desk there that they were just coming out. There is always a good show of the field flowers out Paynes Find way.
