I thought I would start a separate post for photo's of inside your canopy. How you have set it up and store things.
I hope Iana doesn't mind this post. He really didn't get many pics of inside the canopy.
The manufacturers canopy or the Aluminium ones are fine. I have the Manufacturers (Holden) fitted one with lift up side windows so those pics are of more interest to me.

A good tropic, we will see what we/us boys need to carry to keep other people (wife) happy, it willbe interesting.
Our travelling compartment a bit empty at the moment taking a short break, I did take some photos but will need to do it again later when the sun comes around a bit.
Excellent Doug will help a lot of us newbies. About to order a set of draws and set up in the territory. Only problem with the 3rd row of sets laid down you can not bolt any thing through them. Where there is a will, a way will be found. Will post photos when done. Cheers

I have a Hilux Extracab with a canopy. I bought a length of very light weight pool fencing from Bunnings. Then I cut off the end so the largest piece went across the rail that the canopy sits on, fixed with velcro. The small off cut was then stood on end about 400mm into the rear to stop stuff sliding around and fixed with two screws with wingnuts. I put all my chairs and bigger lighter stuff on top and heavier items under. Works well for me and only about $70.
You have such a smart looking beast of a ute there Dougwe, I would be looking at ways to utilise what you have got. Being a solo traveller, you would have nowhere near the challange us fellows with wives or partners face.
That's why I did this post asking for pics Ian. Can't afford to change so just improve. I have just done a small change last week and think it will help a little bit but need to weigh when fully loaded to make sure all is ok in that department.
Don't forget the twins mate, all their indian cloths take space.
No takers with pics yet.

With great pleasure I share the photos of the back of our crew cab ute.
The pull out ute slide was purchased shortly after buying our new ute, the years had caught up to my weary bones and I had serious trouble putting heavy items and then retrieving things from the front of the ute area. Answer one bute ute slide.
At present we are at home recouping firstly from enjoying 3 months overseas then a total of 4 .5 months in the caravan then another 2 months overseas, all in one year.
One photo shows my little luxuries, I like to take alway with or without the caravan, portable bbq, my eco billy, fold out stool and most important our small fire pit with some dry kiddling to start the fire.
The photo with the heavy camp chairs, Engel frig, a 2nd battery in a portable box, the big plastic box has all my 4x4 gear, 20 litre back up water container, portable light weight chairs for those times you need them, a small folding table, a small fishing tackle box, air compressor, a solf bag of tools, small box of electrical gear. I am able to lay some flat things on ute floor like the axe, small crowe bar, fishing rods, cross cut saw.
I have weighed all the gear in the ute with and without the caravan, I still have a couple of hundred kilos to go but overall I am happy with tge out come.
The shelf up the front is bit of a joke as in our previous ute we had a full slide out draws and we would throw light items on top of this but opted not to go this way as most gear would be in the caravan, what happen was they were having a clean up in our area, I spotted this narrow sheet of chip board at the curb, a little adjustment and now its a parcel shelf where some light stuff now live. Very handy.
On the roof of the canopy we have a pressure vent helping on dirt roads to keep the dust out and the portable 100amp battery is connected by anderson plug via a battery management system.
Hope this is of help to those that are looking for ideas, firstly its not purfect but at my stage of life it working.

Here are photos of my canopy. I worked out what sizes I needed the shelving and then built them. I also incorporated two plastic drawers on either side, and a sliding shelf for my genie. I can then slide the genie out and run it without having to lift it down.
This has worked well for us during our travels since April last year.
