We research when crowded EVENTS in rural locations are being held just so that we can avoid them at all costs. Same stuff different location. We didn't miss a goodie, but we're glad you enjoyed yourselves. Each to their own.

Our land abounds in Nature's gifts, of beauty rich & rare. We'll be out there enjoying it somewhere, camped by ourselves much of the time.
Glad you enjoyed it, I wanted to go but had other commitments. A friend played in the bush band. Already seeing a lot of good posts about the weekend on FB so I am guessing it was a 'Goodie'.
After seeing one of the replies to your post it reminded me why I very rarely visit this site anymore. Sad that you can't post an very good experience on here without getting some negative comments from a minority that can't seem to help themselves.

Fringe Dweller "Thank You" for bringing the details of this event to the vast majority of this forum who like to hear of such events and understand what such events do for small villages and communities located with in the region in this case the Norther Rivers.
We were in the area early last year at Ramornie, initially and then at Karangi doing a spot of house sitting. I am sure this event was listed on The Grey Nomads site under "events" and with your post and the Grey Nomads listing the 2017 weekend will now have good exposure.
This forum is about providing information unfortunately some people just don't get it?????
Hi JohnR - your last paragraph is exactly right - but do they look for it - quite often you will see a mention of something being on "Techies", say - do people do, what some of us have done - gone searching for this "Techies" - and then start investigating. My thoughts on the matter.

Fringe dweller keep up your reporting of what you think are enjoyable events Most of us enjoy reading such comments.
J.R. Don't let knockers like D.D. spoil your enjoyment of this great forum. Make a note of who the knockers are and just skip over their comments when you see their avatar. That way they have no influence.
