We are going on a weekend run next weekend to check out the Beulah silos staying friday night at donald the catch up with a nephew then on to bendigo Saturday night to catch up with freinds there looking to stay at Notley camp ground it looks good on wiki camps anyone been there before would be nice to hear what fellow GNs think of it

I'm currently in Eaglehawk/Jobs Gully about 10kms from Notleys Camping Reserve.....in fact every time I go prospecting the Whipstick I go through or round Notley's Camp..easily accommodate your rig with no overhanging tree problems on the way in...dirt well made road leading to.....its actually part of the Whipstick Goldfields, within the Greater Bendigo National Park......great relatively secluded treed/grassed spot/area to camp....free.....you can have fires in fireplaces provided...you need heating as its ccccooold at the moment at night....dogs not allowed....toilets.....undercover cooking/eating area.....located just off Bendigo/Neilborough Road....you can't miss it as clear signposting to entrance.....last couple of times been through in the last week..no-one there.....your choice of some great spots....and so close to Bendigo/Epsom/Eaglehawk/White Cliffs areas....certain you will like it.....Hoo Roo

Thank you Goldfinger that is very reassuring and it's only 10 min from our friends place at jackass flat for our Sunday get together which is what we were hoping for as well we will take plenty of fire wood also hmmm and maybe the genny to run the aircon too

HI woody, Sue, The silos are actually at Brim and they have a great camp there for $10 per night includes power, hot showers, bbq and nice and clean.
I paid at the pub but if no one there I think someone will call around.

Oh dear Dorian it must be a slow day for you , as you have the time to pick holes in my post, while your own post is arguably just as incorrect, from a padantic English teachers perspective, I do so apologise that my education didn't extend to a university degree in English, as I had to return to the family business as my farther could no longer run it due to his army service too Australia in the Second World War so that we can all live in this the lucky country as free citizens, I also apologise for breathing the same air and drinking from the same pond, for walking on the same hallowed soil as one so privileged as you the you believe that it is your station in life to belittle anyone who is not as " educated " as yourself.
