Adelaide to Quilpie Monday 1st August

I'm heading off from Adelaide Monday, hoping to get to Quilpie sometime next week to see the night skies light up.

Anyone else around, drop me a line.

Well done Helen. Keep safe and enjoy. I'm up in Townsville so not near that area. I've just been enjoying looking at the stars in the clear skies along the 'Strand' in downtown Townsville, does that count?

Star watching is great Dougwe but next week there is meant to be lots of star showers, something to do with the Venus and a couple of other stars and the moon crescent.

Anywhere there are not lights or pollution is good.

If anyone does drive into Quilpie do it before 3 in the afternoon as the sun in your eyes from the west can blind you.
