That's good news sufil,  It took a bit of finding but the G.P.S location for this site is said by ( D.P.W ) to be -32.8096  116.875

looks like a nice peaceful spot to see the Wildflowers.

Hi KJ.. sprouting coordinate numbers to me is like talking goobly gook!! Looks pretty good on paper at least. Close enough to Perth to get away for the weekend (or midweek). In Capel til Sunday and the original plan was to overnight there on our way home , bit out of our way but we would force ourselves to explore new roads. But we now have an urgent house sit on Monday and need to head straight home. At least our housesit is only 15 kms from home and we sit for them a couple of times a year so know where everything is and their animals are used to us so it will have to be another mid week escape later on.

Hi Sufil, I've just checked out the new campsite but stayed at Congelin, the old campsite. Mainly I stayed there because it was the first one I came to (not wanting to wreck my van) but went for a drive to find the new one & see how far it was off the sealed road. Gnaala Mia seems no more than 1km off the road and all the roads in the area were very well maintained. It has lots n lots of spaced out sites and a very large, flash camp kitchen in the middle of the loop. Each campsite has its own private fire with BBQ plate & log seating. There seemed to be a fair bit of shade. While there, I was lucky to go to Barna Mia and see all the nocturnal native animals in a natural setting....very cute, esp the bilbies. This is somewhere I'd like to visit again sometime. It was pretty cold at night esp. without power but I did have a firepit which was put to good use. Hopefully you did get there and check it out yourself. NH
