Gday...

It is a great feeling ... sit back, relax and enjoy ... if like the rest of us, in a week or so you will wonder how you had previously had time to fit in going to work.

Hi from me and welcome to retirement.

I totally agree with John. Sooner rather than later you will wonder how you ever had time to go to work.

Enjoy your time off Lol.

Congratulations Bryan! I still remember walking out of that door for the last time almost 6 years ago. Instead of a ''piss up'' with my work colleagues I walked around & said goodbye to them all individually then went out for a quiet dinner at a restaurant with my wife. Best feeling ever!

Thanks for the good wishes.

Got to replace the leaking tap, get the van serviced and wait for mid August to go wild flower hunting. After that we'll take it as it comes but it will all be short trips until we get into the swing of things - got to get Kathy out of the bad habit of taking the whole house with us, she's learning.biggrin

Enjoy it all Bryan, you will no doubt find that in due time you wonder how you found the time to go to 'work'.

Regretably you will also find that life from now on will pass by so very quickly, so enjoy life to the full.

My motto has always ( well since my Father died at 43 & I was 18)

'Live life every day as though it was your last, one of these days you will be right.'

Enjoy your 'freedom from work' from now on  and work hard at enjoying life.

All the Best for the Future.

Hope to meet up on the road some day for 'Happy Hour'.

Bryan, it won't take long to get into the swing of things.

Enjoy your retirement.

Cheers, John.

"Good on ya Bryan",   It's a great feeling to wake up in the mornings, about 5 min before starting time, on a cold wet windy Morning and realise you don't have to put in another 8 hours of work,

Just roll over and pull up the Blankets, then dream of Sunny days ahead.

Get out there and enjoy the Wildflowers,  We'll see you on the road somewhere, sometime.

Cheers  K.J.
