The Eagle is my van.... see my signature block.

Nov 2008 build ... TARE was understated since new ... therefore ATM/GTM was understated but I wasn't too fussed. It just meant I ignored the ATM and always travelled overweight.

Hence I had a sick raptor ........... OOPS an illegal eagle.

I haven't worried about being about 250Kg overweight .... BUT with the increasing attention on compliance being afforded by the authorities, I thought it was time to consult the manufacturer and get them to issue a re-rated compliance plate.

They were only too willing to do so ... AFTER I provided evidence the van could/would comply with the uprated plate.

and TODAY the new compliance plate arrived ...... SOOOOOO ..... Rocky now has a legal eagle.

I to need a new compliance plate but the local engineer want issue it so I just walk around the block a few times now.

 

Oooops, the original topic was about a caravan....sorry Rocky.
