A few of those look like they were taken at the Spirits Of The Sky show at Healesville Sanctuary. The birds love their rewards for doing their tricks don't they! Black Breasted Buzzards don't occur on Kangaroo Island.

One of my reasons for travelling is to get new photographic opportunities. These then get permanently filed on my computer so this site gives me the opportunity to sort through and find some favourites for sharing. Others can then choose to view or ignore them as they wish. To those who comment, I appreciate your feedback and am always happy to provide any further info. Pleased to say that majority of flora shots were my wife's as she pursues her interests.
Except for the raptors, the birds were taken in the wild. The raptors were photographed at "Raptor Domain" on KI. The displays there were amazing and taught me a lot about these amazing creatures.

We've recommended it to many people on our travels who have joined as a result. Our whole reason for traveling is to photograph Australia's birdlife/wildlife/flora in the wild. We've been doing it since the early 80's, a great interest & far more stimulating than going to endless tourist destinations. Nice piece of judicious cropping in the raptor images.
