John, we are leaving for the Flinders on Tuesday. Currently in Broken Hill. Plan first night at Quorn. How much rain have you had. Were planning on going up the Oodnadatta, but all depends on weather.

Hi GeoffC, Thanks, I already have that link. It all depends on how soon the water soaks away I presume. We only have three weeks till our neice flies back out from
Uluru.

Kiwi-as, the situation changes daily. WE have spent the last week in the Flinders, and have not been able to take any of the gravel roads except for Parachilna Gorge Road from Blinman to Parachilna. There have been caravanners stranded around William Creek, but still the caravans continue to head north up the Barndioota Road. There is more rain predicted. Maybe consider the boring route - as we have, along the Stuart.
