MAN WITH 2 CAMELS AND ENGINELESS UTE

A few years ago there was an old guy with a ute that had no engine and was being towed by 2 camels.

This was between St George and Cunnamulla.  He said he was on his second circuit of Oz.

Just wondering if anyone has come across him lately.

I recall that incredible old bloke ... interesting character.

My knowledgeable and friendly old mate, Mr Google, doesn't seem to know much about him since this report in 2013 -

Just googled two camels & a ute & came up with a page full or links.

Was at 80 mile beach WA a few years ago and he was there, but one of his camels was very sick at the time, they were camped up behind the caravan park for a several days. Think the CP allowed him to do so as he seemed friends with the owners.

We left so did not find out how he went on, got some photos somewhere of his rig and camp.
