We tried the Diesel heater first. Fan starts, Fuel pump starts ticking. Waiting waiting waiting. Nothing. Ah must be an air lock in the fuel line. So I disconnect the fuel line behind the pump. Full to the brim.
Go for start up again. We can feel it getting warm, It works. Lambie not happy, not very hot she says. Give it 5 min's. After 10 minutes we are cooking. Had it set to Max. Never gunna be cold in winter again.
I filled the heater tank using two 5lt jerry cans to get an idea as to how much it would hold. It holds 6lt only to the lip. I'm pleased I use the cat litter tray under neigth. I thought it would hold more like 10lts.
Tomorrow the Set top box and dish.
And caravanning was meant to be fun. I'm meant to be retired, All work so far. There's light at the end of the cave.
Hey Jim, Good to hear that you have the heater working, not good to hear the Wifie having a moan, don't worry they all seam to be the same,
Now just you wait until Summer comes around again, if there's anything wrong with the Air Con, you can bet your Boots the Wife will pick it straight away,
Retirement doesn't mean a thing as far as work goes, there's always something that needs fixing or another job to be done,
I've been retired for over 6 years now, thinking of going back to work to have a rest. !!

Righto Jim, you have been very straight up here on the forum, now we can have your honest assessment of your Diesel heater.... Who fitted it. Does it CLICK audibly annoyingly, does it sound like an F111 on take off, does it smell like a a Mack truck.
You have already answered the first complaint, fuel is messy. Its not that I married your wife's sister, but I am trying to avoid being wrong (again).
