Most of us seniors aren't too flush with a quid, and there are hundreds of us travelling this huge country. So, if you are heading for Alice Springs, you have the choice of a caravan park, go bush and free camp, or, go and stay at "The National Transport Hall of Fame". The daily fee is a lot lower than the average C/P. There are two fees, and can include power and shower. One, is a daily rate. Two, is that if you and your partner, wife, husband are prepared to put in a few hours a week doing general tidying, etc in and around the hall, you will be very pleased as to how much the weekly tariff is. Keeping things up to par doesn't mean mechanical repairs, etc, but just keeping the vehicles and grounds clean and tidy. Me and She are there now. I won't quote prices, as things may vary. For any lovers of old, and new trucks, etc, this place is amazing.
Hey Graham. Sounds great and thanks for sharing with us :) It sounds so good, can you please include it in the "Free and low cost camp sites section", otherwise this post will be lost within a few weeks in the General section.
Thanks
