Great to see!!!

I had to go to Cardwell yesterday to do a few jobs and decided to count the caravans, campertrailers and motor homes.

Its approx a 40k trip. 47 caravans, 11 campertrailers and 7 motorhomes. Lucky buggersbiggrin

I also checked out the Tully Showgrounds free camp and 7 vans there.biggrin

Thats great news for the local businesses.

Great stuff nomadsbiggrin

Gday, I go to the Beachcomber a lot for work(mobile mechanic) and I'd say it's the best. Clean and well kept.

I'm down at Mission Beach today and wow the parks are quiet down here. Anyone coming this way wouldn't have a problem getting a site. Cheers Sol

We stayed at the Beachcomber Cardwell in March, nice park across the road from the water.

Was very hot and decided to go for a dip but that idea was thwarted when I spotted a snout

and a pair of eyes just offshore just waiting for me to come in......for a meal.

Good to see the businesses thriving from the masses heading through and north.

HEY..

DON'T ANYBODY go for a dip in any coastal waters North of Gladdie.

We have around 6 in the Fitzroy here in Rocky and Often see them swimming round the Keppels and North of.

Use a public pool or Park pool even the rivers and creeks are a No No.

Take note of that sheila last week.

It's ALL croc country up here.

THEIR environment. We just temporary visitors for a few hundred yrs.

If you DO decide to go in water. Do what us locals do.

Send the/a dog in there first.
Dogs are lollies to croc's. they love them.

We used to shoot them for skins 40 odd yrs ago. God they sink quick with all those rocks in belly.
$1000/1100 for a 6 fter.
