I had a quote for $750 from the Upholstery Guy in Fernvale Qld. Mine is 6.0 metres so the price is in the ballpark.

My awning is one of my favourite features of my van and would be more than happy with that price and hope in includes fitting.

I paid the same and mine is a 14 foot van. I think $500 is a good price

Just make sure the awning is a reputable good quality brand. I had a cheapie put on our van and it stretched and went out of shape in months.

We met a couple in a rest area on the Silver City Hwy last year that had had new material put on their roll out awning. The new material was in our opinion better than the original material that comes standard. They'd had the hanging down fringe part made slightly longer which gave a little more shade as the Sun went down in the late afternoon. A good idea we reckon. It didn't cost them too much at all.

There is a chap in Broadford Vic that sells the entire awning, yes everything, for $599 so maybe he has just the material portion cheaper?

Worth a phone call.
