our water pump has stopped working. Asked in techies corner n a reply said to check fuses. The only fuses i can find is in the picture. Can anyone tell me is this 240 volt or 12 volt or do i need to keep searching for another fuse. Thanks. Rocket

Sorry, you know me, silly. Seriously though, you asked if that was 240v or 12v in the pic. It is 240v and if you look just below the switch it actually is printed there as well.
As to the 12v fuses, check near the chargers for the battery first. Then find where the cable comes into the van from the front. If you have a boot or tunnel, start there. Sometimes these van sparkies put them in strange or hard to get at spots for some reason.
I have a safety switch in the tunnel next to the chargers that if not set to allow enough use it shuts off. I set this a little higher and all good.

Rocket I had a 12 volt water pump install recently the installer show me a fuse near the pump under the sink next to the pump itself , Now in saying that your maybe different , But open up the cupboard and have a look around the pump and see if you can see anything , Also if you can see a name of the pump and model number google and ask if there is a fuse at the pump .
Hi sorry didn't get back to you on the techies but I have. Been on the road mine is under the bed against the boot in the corner in the most impossible place to get to, and the instruction are in a foreign language, took a stab at pumpo fuse and it worked
If you have a Jayco van the fuses are under the fridge (at least in my van) a small panel will expose the fuses. There may be a small led indicator letting you know a fuse has popped. Make sure you replace it with the same amperage fuse.

because there is no wiring harness made for caravans like it is for a car there is no way to tell where the fuse box is mounted (if there is one)
if you have a basic toolkit that includes a test light, start at the pump to see if there is power to the pump.
I assume that other 12volt equipment is working ???.
you will have to look in all the cupboards (high and low) as well as the front boot to see if you can find something similar to the
picture Graeme c posted
there are other set ups that are peculiar to specific makers so telling us make and model would assist

Did you consider your pump has died. Ours stopped working a while back and had to replace the pump.
Use a multi meter and check to see if you have power to the pump
our van has all the 12v system in the front boot together with the solar, gear, mains battery charger etc. The whole unit is about 14"x12" and at the bottom where all the 1v cabling terminates into the unit, there is a modern type fuse for each (the coloured plastic ones like modern cars have).
If you weren't supplied a diagram of the unit or its not written on it (like a household meter and fuse box), then you pull out each fuse and check to see if theyre intact. Can buy the fuses at any Servo etc. I carry a few spares.
Having said all that, it seems that RV manufacturers have one thing in common - they don't have common devices located in similar places, so it makes it very hard to give you good advice.
If you haven't figured it out and fixed the problem yet, perhaps post up the problem again with the make, model, year of your RV - but put it on the Techies area, where sparkies and other knowledge lurk around waiting to help the rest of us out :))

Hey Rocket. A Supreme...........aren't you the lucky one - Ive got the Executive model and 20 months after buying it new still have serious problems (like no mains power and smoking gas water heater) with it. Up to fault #67 so far.
Fortunately the customer service lady at Supreme in Melbourne is very helpful and understanding and she has agreed to fix all these problems outside the 12 mnth warranty period (admittedly I had to remind them of consumer law and a thing called implied warranty which essentially says there is a warranty when an item or product should last "X" number of years and they cannot limit it 12 mnths for example).
I'm not familiar with the Territory model. If you open the front boot, is there a panel on the left side that has red and green flashing LED lights to indicate if your batteries (assume you have them?) are charging or whatever. At the bottom of it, you will see all the various wires coming into it from all your 12v appliances. Below that are the fuses which just pull out (with a bit of effort).
Assuming your electrical box is the same as mine the Fuse # 8 is for your water pump.
If you bought your van new, you should have got a packet of booklets on the various fixtures (like your microwave and fridge) with it. Caravan Electrical Solutions (CES) prewire and wire up all the electrics for Supreme and they supply a book with each van with this info in it.
I don't know if CES were the contractors in 2007, but happy to give you their email addy and also the addy for the very helpful Supreme person who will go out of her way to try and help you out. Just drop me a PM if you want these details

Might have nothing to do with your pump but mine recently stopped working too. After checking the pump to find it was working we cleaned out the filters on our taps & our pump hasn't missed a beat since. :)
