Hi All, I'm heading across from Nowra to Goulburn through Nerriga with my 24' van in tow. I have done it a few times in my Pajero without the van but my memory recalls a causeway that is fairly steep on the western side of the pub and I am concerned about bottoming out the rear of the van as my tug starts the incline. Anybody been through there successfully with a large van that isn't an off roader ? Cheers
I can't comment on the Nerriga crossing, but last year, we went over the range at both Macquarie Pass and over Mt Keira from Wollongong.
After doing both drives with 4wd only, decided best to go over Mt Keira and towards Wingello State Forest. We have a Nissan 4.2 litre Patrol, towing a 3.t 21ft Kedron. Had no issues on the route we chose. I dont' know what the B73 from Nowra towards Mittagong is like but that could be another option for you.

Hi wilkopj and welcome to the forum. Regarding Nerriga there is a new bridge and we have used it on many occasions towing our Royal Flair 26' all up 3t with our 200 series without an issue my father also tow's his 18' van with a Ford Territory through that way with out and issue he lives in Ulladulla and until 4 weeks ago we lived in Milton. Hope that helps.
Welcome to the gang wilcopj, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I can't comment on the way you ask sorry but you have some answers anyway so go for it.
Now, just to wonder off topic a little and that's not like me at all cos KFC does that, BUT, C1, I noticed in your pic that your grey water is going on the ground.....naughty naughty The grey water police will be onto ya mate. Hope C2 is well and C3 enjoying the farm now.

I think you may be confusing Oallen Ford with the creek crossing closer to Nerriga. Nice new bridge has replace the low level crossing at Oallen.

PeterD yes you are right but the causeway just down from the pub is not a problem as well. Dougwe I will blame C2 for the grey water ingression.
