My Favourite places ....

I have travelled a little piece of my Australia over the past 30 years ...... some with tent accomodation and some towing a 'van.

as you'll see from my profile I am a tad biased to the Outback.  My favourite places include Arkaroola .... been there twice and will return; the Oodnadata, Strezlecki, and Birdsville tracks ... will travel them again, Broken Hill/Silvertob, the Canning Stock Route stands out for its beauty ... something new to see after each dune (and there's '00'a of em) ... would love to do it again but I'm not as fit as I once was ( then 45yo .. now 70)

along with my GR8 wife and mate I really enjoy the serenity, the scenery, the history, people Of the Outback. The number of stars you can see when laying on your swag are absolutely countless and so bright .... the friendliness of the people out there is unbeatable ... inspirationaL .... the wonders and beauty of my country ....

 I just wish I could paint ..

sheitttt, I'm having shivers up n down me spine .....

Hi Nomad1946.

I'm with you brother & I'm the same age as you and I find outback travel is hard to beat, to clear the pressures of modern living.

I love the Flinders Ranges in SA as well as the East & West Macdonnell Ranges in the NT (My favourite caravanning spots).

It's hard to beat sitting around a camp fire under the stars waiting for the stew in the camp oven to be ready.

Were spoilt for so many beautiful areas to explore & photograph.

Cheers, John

All sounds good Bob. Keep up the good work but don't get a chill from those shivers.

Nice pics John, real nice, picture perfect shots.
