Finally leaving cairns

G-day .  We are finally Cairns on Sunday.  Should be a month into our trip to W.A. But both have had a health issue pop up on us.So going to head back home ( mid north coast nsw)  We have 3 mths until next check ups.Just  nose along to our time. Heading down to Charters Towers first up.

Question?  Has any one stayed at the Bivouac Junction Holiday Park east of Charters  Lately.  Would like some feed back please.

While in Cairns we have done a few short trips up onto the tablelands. Some great little towns and plenty to see.

ANZAC  wk end went to Cooktown for 5 days. Next time will be a lot longer. Did not see half, but had a few good meals at the bowling club.

Safe travels everyone and hopefully may catch up with you somewhere one day.

Safe travels Woody2 and look after that health. The NSW mid north coast air will fix you both up when you get back down into it. We spend a lot of our time at Crescent Head there, and that plus regular servings of my home brew keeps me in top shape!

Crescent head and South west rocks great part off the coast.

Did not stay at Bivouac Junction, but did visit around September 2014. Thought it could be a nice place to stay, but we went instead to Fletchers Creek and Macrossens Bridge.  Charters Towers is a lovely town to explore.
