12v and solar help needed in the Darwin region

Hi we have two problems we cannot fix on the road the first is we are only generating about half the expected solar and suspect we need to run a separate line for the second panel we have a 40amp bcdc and it should be big enough for 2 200w panels. The other problem is that when we travel we blow the main 12v fuse we hxave tried isolating things but no luck any help with a recomendation would be appreciated Trevor and Pamela
