Zebra Rock Mine vs Lake Argyle

we want to do a boat trip on Lake Argyle and are considering the one that leaves Lake Argyle campground or stopping at Zebra Mine and doing their tour. Has anybody done either of these and which would you suggest we do. I presume it's just the beauty of being out on Lake Argyle and seeing a great sunset that is the main reason for the tour so is there any difference which one you take. Thanks for any advice

We did the Lake Argyle tour in 2014. We stayed 3 nights at Lake Argyle and would have stayed longer if we weren't at that time still working so travelling with limited time. From the campground pool you get great views over the lake and you can go to a museum there. The Sunset lake tour was excellent and we would definitely recommend it. Apart from seeing the lake at sunset the tour does include a short land component seeing the dam wall and time spent touring around the lake which would be a different part of the lake from what would be seen with the Zebra Mine tour. We haven't done the Zebra Mine one, but from reading their website it does also look like it would be good, possibly with more emphasis on wildlife but without being able to see the dam wall.

Consider camping at Zebra Rock Mine and taking a tour from there. Fees were only $10 pp and the fish and chip meals memorable. zebrarockmine.com.au/
We were there in 2014 and although the campground was basic it was one of our best experiences in our WA trip. the young family that owns/operates the mine were absolutely the nicest people and the kid's pets are well worth having an outback experience with. We did a sunset cruise again a memorable experience.

I like the Ord River Cruise (J4), You cruise up to the Lake Argyle dam wall, on the return trip you see some of the side creeks and stop for afternoon tea. You then arrive back and see the sunset before landing. This is my pick or the river tours.

2013 did an All day cruise and sunset on a large catamaran from ramp below the resort and some people came by bus from Kununurra. Best day. Boat held about twenty people, lunch, cruising and two stops for a swim. Amazing.

Which resort was that? Which tour company? Is there a web link for it?

Was it one of these?
