We purchased a 15ft windsor genesis single axle about 3 and a half years ago. We are most happy with it, we haven't had a moments trouble with it, the finnish could not be faulted. We bought it at the sydney caravan show and the salesman was most helpful, and we got a really good deal. Can't complain about after sales service as we haven't needed to use it. We didn't hesitate to buy a windsor as my family had owned one some thirty years ago, and they are a well established company that has a great reputation..
Have you done a google search on Windsor customer feedback? Most RVs have customer feedback sites and although most of the posts are from unhappy customers, rather than happy customers, there maybe a common fault thread that you can check out on the unit you are looking at.
Also try the search field here by "Windsor" - guarantee theres been posts about this brand before
Good luck and happy vanning !

We have a 2008 Windsor Genesis 638(21ft). Prior to this we had a Windsor Dynasty Poptop. We didnt set out to buy another Windsor nor disgarded the idea, it happened to be the caravan we saw and both liked. We brought second hand privately after selling the poptop privately after 10 years of ownership.
Had a couple of age related issues with this van, needed to another battery, a new sacrificial anode for the hot water and the fridge needed another heating element all of which I fixed myself and currently I managed to lose one of the rooftop vents which may have perished with age. I found out when it poured with rain on the weekend and we heard dripping. Lucky for us it was the one over the shower so it just ran out the shower recess drain.
Probably the most annoying thing for me is that the hot water is gas only(maybe I should have checked...Hmmm) but only a small negative.
The van tows well and we are happy with it so far bearing in mind it was about half the price of a new van.
My motorhome (2years old) has only gas heating -no problem - but like you I was shocked when I realized it was only gas because old van was 240/gas. But as we normally stay freedom camping I did not know it was only gas for a long time. If you are in a CP you normally go to their showers
I have a Windsor Geneses Pinnacle GC656S, 21' dual axle, 2013 model, purchaed brand new, and it was off the road for 6 mths of its first year of life.
The list of faults would cover 2 pages, the number of arguments between the selling dealer and Fleetwood trying to move responsability between appliances and manufacturer faults. They tried to charge me for repairs they said was the owners fault until we pointed out the issues and they credit us the costs.
They would go to ground, would not return phone calls or emails so it was given to the DFT for followup.
We are still fighting the appliance manufacturer, dealer, caravan manufacturer and again they have all gone to ground.
The senior inspector for the DFT has now taken on the complaint.
I would add that my Van was built before the Windsor brand was taken over by Fleetwood.(As far as I know anyway). I have a friend who has owned since new a 2006 version of my van, again very little trouble and it has aged well considering it is in use constantly.
I have had a few comments basically endorsing to differing level's Migra's point of view re the current quality of this brand from owners after the Fleetwood take over.
I doubt I would buy a new version based on a few comments made to me.
In hindsight I should have added this in my original reply.
