Short pipe with a slot cut in for the jockey handle and hose clip, quick and easy dish support, just gotta make sure van is facing the right way!IMG_20160412_142020.jpg

Hi.

G to Jaycar.
outside speaker box stand. WAS.... $100.

with flat plate tacked/Angle riveted to bottom of legs. Pegs into ground.
holds dish in all weather so far.

It costs but does a very good job.

I bought mine around 8 yrs ago. Repaint coupla times. That's it.

I also got a length of 1 1\4 tube mounted on drawbar to carry dish.
and sometimes use from on short stops.

Nowadays though there's zilch but American and soapy crap on tv.
I don't take dish just movies and music.
Kenwood Marine HF reciever for news and weather. Hand mike left behind.
Lay out a long wire off ground you get near world wide reception on some days.

Good work Neil, I had a pipe also on my drawbar mounted on a separate Jockey wheel clamp.

As it was a longer drawbar than yours I could actually turn it right around on the pole so if the satellite was behind the van it didn't matter.  Sometimes the LNB was almost touching the front window UNDER the window cover.

Set-up was so simple, even if we just did an overnight roadside stop the dish was one of the first things set up & got tv running.  She inside has a few programs she likes to watch & it's not hard to make it so she can.

I also carried an ex speaker tripod for those times that a tree was in the way of a van mount.

Your dish looks to be an ex Foxtell?  You may find that one with a removable LNB arm is easier to carry.  Mine was held on with 1 wingnut.

Cheers Neil

I have got one of these coming for my new dish.

It comes with a bracket for the drawbar and with the addition of another bracket I can fit the dish on either the front or the rear of the van, depending on which way north is.
