I have a small problem with the locking pins on the rollout awning, they sometimes just let go . Can you get new pins or will I have to replace  the whole handle?awning handle.jpg

Peter I have had the same problem. Inspection showed that the diecast had corroded some what in the weather and as the pins are pushed out by a not too strong leaf spring they were not engaging far enough to lock the slide. Our solution was a little light oil (sewing machine oil) and work the handles until the pins freed up, problem solved.

Mine haven't yet given way but I have had difficulty in getting the pin to engage.

I have been thinking of drilling a hole in the other side of the upright and simply sliding a bolt through. Should work alright.

By the way, a bigger problem for me is that the lever tends to pinch the web between my finger and thumb. Anyone else have that happen?

I had to replace the whole handle - about $50 each side. Rivets - if i had the gun could have done it myself. Just need to drill out the old rivets.
