Hi Frank , we stay at Ramco, just outside Waikerie, right on the river, go down beside the school, great spots all along the river. Careful if it has rained though, enjoy.

I'm just checking in too. Home from hospital Moving around slowly. Worst bugbear is I am not allowed to drive a car for 6 weeks. But then I am also not allowed to operate a broom, washing up bowl, pots & fry pans or hang clothes out on the line. Keith is chief cook, bottle washer & super nurse so I am getting great care & attention. Regards Alice

I think that there is a picture game elsewhere on the forum, unfortunately I do not keep pictures, so I do not play that game
It looks to me as though the Grey Nomad known as Billeeee, is trying to hide behind the sculptures at Lake Ballard near Menzies.
I briefly met you and Billeeee at the Wagin showgrounds in WA, otherwise I would not have known who that fine looking gentleman was.
I would have picked him for an Ambassador Grey Nomad, as I can clearly see that he had walked all the way out onto the salt lake, to offer his assistance to an artistic type damsel in distress
I am at home in Bunbury WA at the moment, so I pop into the forum, from time to time
Hi Tony - yes the games are Pick This Place, where if you win submit one of your pics - hard if you don't keep them. The other is "Who is This" in I Digress.
You can get a pic from mr google or wherever, of a famous person - and give clues till someone gets it - good fun.
Loved the statues on Lake Ballard, if it hadn't been so hot would have stayed out there. I apologise if I can't recall meeting you, but I remember going to Wagin. Nice little town. Billeeeeeee would offer his assistance to anyone in need, from his lovely soul - that's just who he is.
We will be over again in 2017 - hope to have a meet up, we will be going to the Seabird one in October "17. All welcome! Before that we will be down south for the winter - crazy I know, but he wants to do it!!!! See you then.

Hello jules47
I am not surprised that you do not remember me, as I only spoke with you and Billeeee for a few minutes. I was the man with the burnt hands, quizzing you about your motorhome, as I have an older version. I did mention that I would be joining the Grey Nomads forum, eventually.
One word to describe down south, (as the locals call it), in winter, is brrrrr
Oh yes Tony - I know about cold winters - I'm from Melbourne originally - and yes I do remember speaking to you about the motorhome - do you still have yours, we love our little home!

Hello jules47
Yes I still have the motorhome. I have made many improvements, and each time I do a trip, I find more ideas.
I am planning on spending about six months of the year on the road.
Say hello to Billeee for me
