<A 'current' variation on a version I had heard before>
An Airplane was about to tragically crash, there were 5 passengers on board....but only 4 parachutes.....
The first passenger , Holly Madison, said "I have my own Reality Show and I am the prettiest woman at Playboy, so Americans don't want me to die."
She took the first pack and immediately jumped out of the plane.
The second passenger, John McCain, said, "I'm a Senator and a highly decorated war hero from an elite Navy Unit from the United States of Ahhhmericaa"
With that he grabbed the second pack and immediately jumped.
The third passenger Donald Trump, said, "I'm going to be the next President of the United States of Ahhhmericaa and I'm the smartest man in our great country
and I will make Ahhhmericaa great again"...so he immediately grabbed the pack next to him and pushing the remaining passengers aside..jumped out....
The fourth passenger, Billy Graham said the fifth passenger, a 10 year old trembling girl, "I have lived a long and most fulfilling life and served my God as best I could
I will happily sacrifice my life for someone who has their full life ahead of them, and let you have the last parachute..."
The little girl said " That's okay Mr Graham there is still a parachute left for you...the smartest man in the World jumped, wearing my Schoolbag".........

ISTM that every time the Americans elect a rabid, chest beating, bible bashing Republican Pharisee to the White House, their allies end up fighting another war. The fact that they haven't won a war since 1945, or that Jesus was a socialist pacifist, seems to have eluded them. Essentially the US president is our president, too. Hence our fixation with this American farce. I enjoyed the joke, though.

If in fact he does become President, the "system" and the two houses of elected Reps will force him to tow the line mostly - it will just be his XXXXL mouth that will cause problems and even make the North Koreans look savvy by comparision
