GREAT place-Whitsunday area Caravan Park

Found a great little park just north of Proserpine (south of Bowen 50+km) called GUNNA GO CARAVAN PARK.

It has lovely new owners and they are really friendly.... It is a pet friendly park with lots of space, green grass and

room to spread out.  The licenced bar area was great place to chat to other travellers over a cold beer and enjoy

a meal from their menu.  It is a older park and the amenities are aged but CLEAN.... The new owners always seem

busy out and about keeping this park looking lovely.

Welcome to the gang Tania, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Thanks for that hot tip, it's always good to know the nice CVP to visit if want or need to. I have made a note for myself and also told my Daughter in Townsville as she was looking for a nice park around that area. She only asked me over the weekend. She prefers to go to CVP for safety with the kids.

Can I suggest you also put it in "Recommendations" under the right heading there.

Have to agree Tanya. We have based there a few times for visits into the Whitsundays. Just a short drive into Airlie Beach etc. Clean, green and friendly. Also highly recommend the park. Phil.
