Purchase Sat TV kit

We are looking to buy Sat TV kit, does any one have information to share on Satplus Australia and the Travel Sat mobile vast sat TV kit with SP75 dish on a tri pod and Sat king 800CA vast decoder that they sell?  We are in Mt pleasant SA for the next few weeks so would have it shipped to us. Is there a good company in SA we should talk to?

You could try Home of the 12 Volt, who are in the northern suburbs of Adelaide at Pooraka on Montague Road near the Main North Road. They would be straight back down the road through Birdwood and Tea Tree Gully from where you are.

They advertise the set up you mention for $695.

Their number is 8262 6890.

There is a Home of the 12 Volt at Mount Barker, which may be closer to you by going across via Lobethal Woodside and Littlehampton, but they don't appear to have the Sat TV set up for sale. Their number is 8391 3121

Hope this helps.

G'day ajtmb

We and many of our friends have been happy customers of Satplus for quite a few years now. The service and backup support is second to none.

They supply quality equipment and will support you after the sale.

I would advise you also upgrade to the digital sat finder meter as this makes set up much simpler and quicker then manual settings methods.

I would be keeping well clear of anything with the name Itech on it. Many of our members have had bad experiences with their deceptive advertising and lack of after sales support

The equipment I have seen is of poor quality and would not be reliable.
