If you were to rob a bank you would very quickly find yourself in court and probably in jail especially if you stole hundreds of millions of dollars, yet the Commonwealth bank has had several goes at tha Australian community me included I got caught up in the Commonwealth bank scam with super i have lodged a request for a review of the advice i recieved and have still not heard from them.
After the most recent 4 corners program it is obvious the Commonwealth bank has not learned any lessons from the super debarcle, one customer who had insurance through Cominsure had a heart attack and actually died but doctors were able to bring him back but Cominsure refused to pay his claim stating his heart attack wasnt serious enough.
There were another three similar cases shown on the progran includig one of their own employees who became too sick to work and they also refused to pay out on her insurance.
THIS IS THEFT and there are obviously some very low life creatures working for the Commonwealth bank its time for a Royal commission into the banking industry and jail time for those who are corrupt.
Yes I am angry i have been ripped off by these cretins and they are still doing it even after having been exposed in previous media stories.
Have other Forum members been ripped off by the banks too i would be interested in you posting too to warn other forum members.

Yes and there are still lots of people out there still trust the banks with their money and Super nest eggs , You also only see these story on my ABC and lots don't watch my ABC , Good work aunty .
Wander if it is possible for someone to actually walk into a Police Station and say they want to lay charges against them, Com Bank that is ???...Might get something going ??..
Insurance is an evil necessity. Regardless of the insurer its something that you have to have, but you know when it comes time to make a claim, theyll do everything possible not to pay out.

A bit more research on this issue showed that even after the Commonwealth bank refused to pay these peoples claims they still had the hide to take payments for the policy that they just refused to pay out on and didn't advise their customers they were taking this money out of their accounts.
This is absolutely despicable behaviour by low life cretins who call themselves human beings.

Years ago in his Awful Truth series on SBS, Michael Moore exposed similar practices by a US health insurer (Humana). In one particular case he went out to bat for a person who was in need of a life saving pancreas transplant but was denied on the basis of some flimsy technicality. Moore hired a group of actors as pallbearers and visited the office of the insurer. The patient and his pallbearers then distributed invitations to the man's funeral.

We were with combank for years with two house loans i could write a story on the dramas we had
With them including being ripped off by them as there mistake with our rental and us losing
25 grand they offered us 3 grand compensation ,um nope then five ,all up we hot nine grand
Back out of 25 grand all because they ballsed us ,i closed our account with them last week !
I will never bank with them again!
