Hi everyone out there in the playground.     Don,t get too comfortable thinking a stainless cable is safe and secure.  I run a 40 story high rise building with cycle parking.    Some one got into the car park and stole a few $10,000. Push bikes that had been locked with 1/2" multi stranded cable.  Whatever they cut it with was razor sharp and looked like someone had used a pair of scissors. They only took a few minutes to lift the gear and be gone.   Chooknphil

Sorry it has taken me a while to return to this post! I know you will all understand....I have been doing a bit of tripping around. I want to thank you all for your great tips. I have come to the conclusion that rabbit traps & a bloody big dog could be the answer. Or I could just do what some of you suggested &have my Gene tucked away early. Hope you are all having a wonderful Easter.
