Current Petrol price

as a person who constantly complains about the high cost of fuel and the massive rip off by the major outlets I am just a little bit excited that the ACCC has threatened to take action against the big three (hohum) cant see that ever happening.

This afternoon I purchased unleaded for 92.5 cents per litre at our local family owned servo who unfortunately does not sell LPG not that I would be buying any with petrol at this price although I did see it at one of the big two near home for 65.9 cents per litre, guess it must be costing a lot more to produce LPG these days.

I am also looking forward to the app that is going to be available that will give us motorists the same information as the major fuel providers have, doubt this current price for petrol will last long but I for one am taking advantage of it. Only at independent servos as I am conducting a major one man ban of the big two.

I paid 98.9 cents per litre for Diesel at Texas two days ago. First time I've paid under a dollar.

Just back from a month in the van from Albany WA where the diesel is $1.06 which I thought that's ok .Bremer Bay was $1.05 even better then downhill in Perth $1.19 couldn't believe it why so much more ? We live about 400 kms from Perth and it's cheaper here ? Seems like the city folk are getting ripped off at the moment .

BP are generally the dearest of all the service stations. But at one in Safety Bay, Perth, they have been selling it for weeks now at $1.07.9 - about the cheapest around - there are a few independents at $104.9 - but not worth me doing a 2 hour trip to save a few cents

Like Radar i have not purchased fuel from Coles or Woolworths sincelast November and i can assure you that i have not once missed getting a 4 cent per litre discount my local servo is usually under the Coles listed price and IGA will give me the 4 cent discount so i get the best of both worlds supportin local family owned businesses and still getting a great deal on fuel.

The independent servos just down the road from my place in Bris. southside had discount E10 at 89.9 yesterday.  I had already filled up with disc UL at 92.?.  Even the usually dear BP had E10 at 95.9.

I've noticed too that the gap between E10 & normal U/L is down to about 2c which makes it worthwhile.  Usually 4 to 5c gap.
