Hi Mike
A great read, when we finally get on the road we are looking forward to spending time in Tassie. I enjoyed looking at your photos obviously you are into your photography and doing a nice job.
Thanks & cheers Gary
Literally this time. You two had way too good a time over there in the state of Tassie. That sailing boat trip sounds just perfect. If I ever decide to go back over, that will be first port of call.
Hope we catch up soon.

Yep, way too much fun for sure. We did not want to return. I we get a few cooler days we might venture up to Greens. How much long are you planning to be there?

Yes, Gary, I really enjoy taking photos of places we visit. A great way to remember them.
What a wonderful blog. I am glad to have met you both at Franklin, even though it was briefly. Love your photos of the mill. We stayed there twice for a couple of days each time. Did not even think to try the night photography.
All the best to you both

G'day Mike, we finally arrived in Queenstown today. Had a cold one up at Derwent Bridge. Dusting of snow over 1000 metres. Bl**dy cold, thank god for diesel heater.

Yes, our friend from Hobart tells us it has been cold and snowing in Tasmania. I would like to still be there to enjoy it
Enjoy Queenstown. I have mixed memories of that place. The very first time I got VERY drunk was there. I was demonstrating and selling electronic organs for a company I worked for. My fellow worker and I had NOTHING else to do at night so we decided to polish off a few - NEVER AGAIN!!!! I was as sick as a dog on the return trip to Hobart. Those roads are not the best place to be driving (or riding as I was) with a hangover. A valuable life Lesson learnt!!!!!
