As more & more people retire & decide to get mobile things will get increasingly crowded & popular. Definitely standing room only in the years to come unless you enjoy camping in State Forests like us surrounded by nothing but Aussie wildlife, enjoying total peace & quiet.

There is plenty of desert to go round.

We have just spent 5 weeks at Portland in South West of Victoria. Average day time temp 22/24 for January. Followed up with a little "road trip" Warrnambool, Kennet River(Great Ocean Road), Barwon Heads, Ballarat, Bendigo and Ardlethan before reaching Central West of NSW.

Will head in the direction of Childers Qld at the end of Feb for 3 months with an option for another 3 months. I think that should cover "winter". Guess what our only cost will be to feed ourselves.

Gotta love this house sitting "gig".

This park is ****ers .Good for the owners who are taking advantage of us nomads and are offering reduced rates including every fourth night free .Most people are stopping 4 or 8 nights .Win win all round .
There's always someone going somewhere .

On a short trip from Gympie to the Sunshine Coast and back, we counted 16 vans going north and 17 heading south :)
