Yes, I'd grab a pennant if they were available. I have two unused stickers and have been toying with the idea of sticking them back to back around the radio antenna (so that they are positioned horizontally, just like a pennant waving in the breeze). Already have a sticker on the back of the bus and the Terios.

Thanks Joe, a Pennant would certainly make it easy to identify other GN's especially in large meet up places like Greens etc.
I can't believe the pathetic lack of replies either for or against a pennant from the number of views of this thread, it is pathetic and shows a lack of courtesy to those who go to the effort of making a post, it doesn't take much to make a reply. I have bent over backwards on this forum in the past to help other members but don't bother anymore because some are just not worth it. No wonder some members just don't bother posting or visiting the forum anymore.

The matter of a Pennant has been bought up before. There was a lot of interest. Cindy was to look into it but nothing eventuated. Cindy !!!!!!!!
Yes, I was the one who brought it up before, but nothing more to date.
As I said in my earlier post, there are some who want a flag (or in this case pennant) and those who don't want those or stickers etc, that is personal choice. It is just that there has been a few posts from members saying they have trouble finding other grey nomads at camping grounds etc and a flag would be a more visible way for GN's to attract each other to who they are.
Each to their own, but for those wanting some form of camped up recognition I think the pennants would be a good idea instead of a flag.
Thanks or those who took the time to respond to date.
I think the problem here is that lots of us have already commented on a few previous threads about this and nothing appears to have happened so many would just give up commenting.
I am in favour of a flag I can attach to my van when parked up just like I do with the Aussie flag and of course the NSW Blues.
I will await some action by Cindy and her team.

Now Weevil don't get your knickers in a knot!!!!! I think a pennant would be a great idea, we have stayed at busy places, and found later that another member was there as well.
It has our support - just need to get management in the loop.
See ya!!!

Sorry for the delay with this. I had a problem with the initial supplier of these who disappeared after I asked for a couple of modifications. I've sent out inquiries to a few other companies and am waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully this will happen soon. I'll keep you all in the loop as to when they will be available. Thanks for your patience.
Perhaps if Cindy is going to have a number of these pennants (flags?) produced it will entail an outlay to pay for the design, production and delivery.
Perhaps she should take orders from prospective members who want one, and either have the price paid in full at time of order - or 50% deposit - so that the 'forum' is not out of pocket.
Cheers - John

I am not sure if I would like a blue flag or pennant of any kind. Blue is not a colour of the future and I know you might say they won a series not long back. We had no choice when we allowed the result to improve the betting odds. I did hear a rumor that Victoria offered to take on the Blues role and provide a bit of a competition. If you want a pennant to stand out and be popular it has to be maroon.
I would be more than happy to have one. Hubby isn't fond of stickers. Used to fly something similar when camping (from another forum) sure made it easy to spot everyone.
I am not really fussed whether I have one or not, however I had previously posted on the subject due to a few saying they wished they had a flag etc or had not realised they were camped up next to other GN's without realising it, and wished we had a flag or something.
When I saw someone advertising a pennant (see sample first post) it reminded me that I had heard nothing back on the subject recently so decided to repost.
I am not really a flag/pennant/sticker person, but I know there are some that are.
My current avatar is also something I saw advertised, it is another version of the boxing kangaroo which I liked and though funny.
