finally got ours

20160205_192535.jpg20160204_154414.jpg20160204_154345.jpgWe also have a new van a 2016  supreme executive 2100, picked it up last week. had a few problems,  We were not impressed with the people in the office ,  if we had not had all our discussions in emails they would not have given us what we asked for extras etc      BE WARNED, ALL PHONE CONVERSATIONS, SEND THEM AN EMAIL AS WELL AND GET IT CONFIRMED   AS WE DID.

Solar 360w,   Autosat s2, with vast box,     e 190L water tanks and 95L waste water

1 THEY PUT THE VAST BOX AND SAT CONTROL BOX IN THE WRONG O/H CUB   Wires every where in the cub a real mess

2 TV BOX OUTSIDE THE VAN IN THE WRONG SPOT  When they drew up the third plans, and specs they change the tv box location, i did not notice it , when i signed the final plans my fault

3 THERE WERE 3 OTHER ITEMS, PLUS 1 MAJOR ISSUE  ( I WONT GO INTO IT HERE )

I MUST PRAISE THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT they got 2 electricians to fix all the wiring,  it took them 3 hours ,    they did a lot more than what i asked for. to keep me happy.

they could not have done anymore, Very happy campers now

Hi Willy & Liz,

I picked the (won't go there bit ) from your first photo.

You forgot to measure the height of your car port.biggrin

Its a nice unit Willy. Many happy travels.

All manufacturers are put in the same basket IMO. Try to get over them and look forward. If you can do the fixers yourself, do so.

Two months have past, and we are still waiting for the phone call from JAYCO to say your replacement component has arrived from Melbourne. You are correct in saying, put EVERYTHING via email. We do the same and keep asking when will it be.hmm

Regards Jim & Lambie

Thanks guys, were happy with the van. We will start our journey mid march. Yes yes i know the carport should have been higher, but i built the house 40 years ago and never planned on a caravan lol . ( boats and 4x4 yes ) were selling the house, and buying another to place the van. stupid i know. We like living here but its time for a change,

Hi Willy & Liz,

You do have to think ahead. I built a man cave 15 years ago to store the gear in. still not big enough. I too thought I would keep the camper for life. How ones life change's. our van just fits in the cave.

We now have moved up to the van with a shower/ loo for my Lambie's  comfort. No regrets, Its our time to rest and enjoy our great country.

We all may cross paths on our adventures.

Jim & Lambie

Hi liz, we've got a Supreme Spirit Series II and it looks very similar to your van. We've had a few issues but they've all been fixed by the warranty staff to a high level. They even fixed things we hadn't noticed.

One thing I suggest you do - we wiped out our step on our first trip exiting a servo in Swan Hill. If you look in the corner of the Supreme service depot in Craigieburn, there is a pile of bent and broken steps they have removed from vans (or there was when we were there getting ours cut off).

I bought a low profile step from Caravans Plus, and haven't hit it ever. Supreme welded the step I bought onto the van at our first service.
