I asked the guy at battery world much the same question . His answere was the 100 AH. Would last longer ..didn't mention Battery size, plates etc though ?

Yes you can, providing you can carry the extra 30 kg weight and the batteries will fit in the space. Should present no problems apart from those two minor problems.

Yep, nothing else to do unless the new battery chemistry is different from the old ones in which case you should check the charging settings.

If you have a State of Charge readout, that should be adjusted too, just so it knows how big the batteries are.

Simple answer is Yes. Only thing you might consider is that you would have an extra 100AH or so to charge. If you have some solar panels, you might be better off installing only two 135 AH batteries and adding a solar panel for extra charging capacity. Experienced and knowledgeable people like Collyn Rivers often say that many RV users have too much storage and not enough charging capacity, if solar is part of the mix.

Agree to the extra solar . After adding more to mine . Surprised how easy it was .. We try to use most our power while sun is out . 200 AH does us fine fir LED lights,LED TV. The heavy high load the built in geni takes over . Rarely used though ..

Thanks everyone. I think I will stick to the 3x100amp batteries. We also have 3x120 solar panels and can go for a week/10 days or so in rainy wx!
