Looking to make a base camp in northern NSW

Hi GN folks, I am looking for somewhere to set up caravan with annex and park the van for a few months in Northern NSW. Long story short my van has died (planned 12 but only got 3 months on the road :( )and I need somewhere to base while I look for a property. (which was one of my reasons for being on the road)

My rigs are a caravan with annex and a campervan. Access to electricity and water would be better. I hope I can keep my 2 x 11 year old cats with me (contained so I will need trees) and why I am asking here as I think only a private situation could work. Does anyone have any ideas of where would be suitable or where it would also be good to ask?

The more affordable the better while I am transiting and I would consider helping out around your property too.

oh yeah... I am a solo I didnt know where to ask this question.

fingers crossed

Idris

Look in the classifieds on this site, for people who may need help on their farms, might be a start. Shame about your van dying, but stay positive, and life will get better.

I will try the classifieds, smile Thanks

Things will pick once I lift anchors properly, sorry if it sounded all miserable. The cats have an indefinite temporary place to stay which should open my options up.

Have you thought of long term house/farm sit? The other option which may be of interest...go stay a few night at Deepwater Inn , out the back, $15 per night with power and shower, laundry for a small fee....the owners are rebuilding the inn and if you can do some work around the place they may be interested...
