We've got a Windsor caravan and having a problem with a water leak coming in through the window winder, and we've replaced the winder 4 times now and it's still leaking. Rivets, Arm and between the winder and window frame have all been sealed.
Any suggestions on where the water might be coming in?
When I first got my van I had some minor leaks in a few of the windows. I put a dob of silicon on the top off all the rivets on the winder mechanisms and that fixed it.
The front window sometimes had water blowing up thru the bottom rubber seal (in strong wind). I just twisted the frame a bit & applied a smear of vaseline from time to time. Fixed that too.
Could you clarify if it a front side window or the window across the front of the van please. However a leak between the caravan skin and frame of window around the top can find its way in via the winder.
