ABC Sydney 702 with Ian Rogerson had a good program today at 10am discussing grey nomads and the lifestyle in general. Cindy was on the panel, as was the guy on the vanning show on TV whose name escapes me, (he alwayes samples chicken parmigianas with the swimmer Brooke Hansen). I don't know if it's going to be a regular segment or a one off, but they took listener calls and it was good. A lot better than much of the dross we get served up. One guy phoned in and he's a grey nomad in his own small plane - novel! I checked if there was a podcast of the show but couldn't find one.
Whew! For a minute we thought you were going to say that Macka's Australia All Over was a good program! We turn ABC radio off when his program begins & on again when he's finished.

I used to enjoy Macka, but these days find him a bit of a pain with his frequent whinging, bagging of Politicians & the National Rugby League. He's too Sydney centric in his views for me.
While I'm not at the stage of turning him off I certainly tune out of his rantings but listen for any interesting guests or callers. Very little good Aussie music (to my taste that is) on his show these days.
