Made m y upgrade to villa nova 4 months ago very happy with the quality and finish, did lots of research and there are not many complaints about them. One model (metro link) has some concerned but over all seem to be a good brand generally. My van was 6 years old when purchased, excellent condition and good value for money compared to others....

Villa Caravans don't appear to have any connection to Nova caravans, 2 completely different manufacturers.
Hi DMaxer. Arent familiar with the Villa 'vans. Let us know how you go and what you buy and all the features that are loaded into it.
Have you tried googling "Villa Caravans (if that's their trading name) customer feedback" ? I wish I'd known about this with my 'van make and with the public comments from many unhappy customers, I probably wouldn't have bought it - but by then it was after the event
Good luck !

The amazing things you see when nomading Australia
Bought a Supreme. Lots of extras in it that others in the Dealers yard (the biggest in WA) didn't have and it looked and sounded good. Seemed to be well put together (I'm not a mechanic or carpenter lol). But we're up to warranty repair number 62 and more to be done in February (out of warranty and needed to remind the manufacturer that there is an extended implied warranty under consumer protection law to get the work done).
The build "concept" of the 'van was good and we have no problems with things like layout etc. The problems were mainly minor and due to just terrible workmanship and lack of quality control. For example within 2 weeks from new, we were loosing 180 litres of water a day from our water heater. We were in a remote area, so it went to an independent RV repairer. When he opened it up, the plastic water hoses had been fed through the cut slot in the metal back wall, rubbed on the rough cut edges of the cut slot and of course cut both the input and output hoses. The repairer said this is typical of the garbage work he sees in new RV builds. All he did was replace the two hoses and wrap them with bicycle inner tubes to protect them and also to stop any further rubbing motion. Took all of 5 minutes to put the rubber sleeve in and that included nicking the tube out of one of his sons rear bike wheel lol. He, and another repairer we had to use, both said they wouldn't buy a new RV because of poor building. One stayed in hotels or motels on holiday and the other had an old 18 year old caravan that he had re-built, along with a tent. Says something about the RV industry....
We seem to be finally reaching the end of all these problems - be it feels just about everything seems to have been repaired or replaced.
I guess we compare it to a new caravan we bought about 10 years ago - a Jayco (which a lot of people also complain about nowdays in terms of quality) - we didn't have a thing wrong with it and never went near the Dealer for any warranty work.

The amazing things you see when nomading Australia
Hi, my hubby and I own a Villa caravan, it is now coming up to two years old, we have done a few short trips in it and we finally started off on our 3 months trip and have had nothing but problems with it.
Firstly the floor the fridge sits on broke and thankfully it sits over the wheel arch and that is what saved it from going right out the side wall. Floor got Fixed by hubby and a mate, it is now secure, but it broke the gas flue of and so we can't use the gas part of it until we can get that checked out and make sure there is no other damage to it and we don't gas ourselves.
Next heading up to Cooper Pedy we lost a bathroom vent, then the next day the other bathroom vent, which had just broken into pieces, brittle from the sun I guess, we tried to get replacement ones at Alice Springs to be told you can't get those vents here in Australia as we don't use them because they are no good for our environment, they are still hundred mile taped up until we can get back to Melbourne to get them fixed.
Then we have had the washing machine leaking into the bathroom cupboards, running along the floor under the shower and leaking near the door, fixed once again by hubby. Thank god he is a bit of a handy man.
The outside table, which we have only ever used for sitting a cuppa on has bowed in the middle and it says it has a rating of 30 kg, the wall behind the stove has bows in it, which needs to be fixed, the shower rail that the shower head is on has rust forming on it. The kitchen sink had to be replaced because the stainless coating had started to come off and now the new one is doing the same.
The second water tank was not filling up because the breather was getting air locks in it.
Having a shower is horrible as it just gets to hot in there with out the vents, and to much moisture in the bathroom.
We bought a new TV antenna as we could get reception anywhere with the one on our van.
Also I wrote them a complaint and have had no reply to it and I seen two other people have had similar complaints to ours, and I have spoken to these people through emails and they also are having trouble getting repairs done and are also going to the omsbudsman.
We have rang Villa with each complaint, and having been told when we bought the van that it was a 5 year warranty, Australia wide, to be told bring the van back, no we can't get it fixed where we are, no they won't pay for fridge to be fixed, and that it was out of warranty anyway, which it isn't, their attitude is very bad towards us and we will be going to the omsbubsman if these things do not get fixed for nothing, so I personally would not recommend Villa to anyone.
Oh and you won't find any negative feedback on the Villa caravans, because I put mine on their site and Facebook page and they have been removed.....so that's why there are no negative feedbacks.....
