A SERIES of fires have marred New Years Eve for parts of Perth with a bushfire threatening Secret Harbour, south of Perth and another fire ripping through a caravan park.
Several caravans, boats and cars were destroyed by fire or badly damaged at Midland Tourist Park, in West Swan.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said two caravans, a bus, several vehicles and a boat had been destroyed and the caravan park had to be evacuated.
You're not wrong there Lance C , With so many C/Parks closing around Perth, This Park would have been full to the limit, plus being the Christmas period it was more than likely booked out for some time to come, lets hope the residents are allowed back as soon as possible.

Thankfully it seems no-one was injured. Lets hope they were all well insured and get paid to return home or accommodated (be nice to think the CP puts them up in any empty cottages). That's a Xmas and NY start that they wont forget......................
Thanks for putting these pics up Jim :))
