What did you get for Xmas?

My Darling did something she has never done before in our 61 years together date.gif. Because there is only 11 days between Xmas and my Birthday she combined things and bought me 10 X $10 Scratchies, and 33 X $3 Scratchiesparty.gif. So I am going to be quiet for a couple of days whisper.gif. I have $199 to recover and no, I do not need any help with my chore.

Yesterday we got home from having Chrissie lunch with friends. So I turned the computer on & there was my best Chrissie present. An email from my long lost brother (I haven't seen him since he was a teenager & he is now 67). He lives in Thailand now. Found him 6 mths ago but correspondence has been slow as he was not computer literate. Now he has a smart phone so we can be in touch faster. Hopefully I will be going to see him in 2016. Cheers Alice

Well Simmo,

I got an 18v Ryobi impact driver to wind and unwind the legs on the van and put extended coach bolts into the ground for the roll out awning. life is getting made easier every year.

How wonderful for you Alice - great Chrissy present.  And a reason for another cruise????

Say g'day to Keith and both have a hug from us - hope to see you somewhere this year.

it seems to get more difficult to buy for us matures than our kids. I don't need more socks, jocks or hankies and don't like too much choc. Wife and I didn't buy anything for each other - we're going to wait till we see what we really want.

Kids are happy though - and got the chocs, booze and a pre-paid debit card (always good) from them. Don't know how happy they are as the dealer wouldn't wrap up a V8 Holden, so I wouldn't buy two !!!! LOL
