Hello to all you Grey Nomads.

 

We are about to set off from Tassie on a year's trip around the big island. We hope to see a lot and, especially, to get to Darwin this time, as we did not make it on our previous trip in 2012. We will be in the same van, a 2003 Galaxy Mk II pop-top, but we will keep an eye out for an upgrade on the run.

We have been looking at caravan forums for quite a while - being typical silent bystanders. We're impressed with the amount of information we find in this Grey Nomad Forum. So we decided to join up(and hopefully, join in!).

You are off on a very big trip, Darwin is a magic place to visit take at least 2 weeks to see it proper like.

Lots of info in here if you do a search. Pop a question into a relevant section if you need a answer on something.

We are happy to chat about anything in here and that is what makes us such a happy bunch.

Doug is the one you need to keep an eye on. The Chief of cheer has a couple of squaws to keep him company(or so he says)

I have no pink shirts I think it was his bloodshot eyes when I was in a white shirt.
