Battery Jump-Starter AMG15 - Seeking Advice

I have commenced investigation into an emergency battery jump-starter.  There are a number of products available through agencies such as SuperCheap, ARB, Battery World, etc.

I have received some impressive data from the Generator Place for a product called the AMG15 - small size, lightweight, and quoted as capable of kicking over diesel motors up to V12 with a max displacement of 7000cc.

I would certainly have confidence in the ARB SMBG5 @ $298, but I'm interested to see if anyone has had experience with devices such as the Generator Place AMG15 (battery capacity 15000 mAh, wt 595 gms, 185x86x32mm, jump start current 350-700A)

Regards

The real capacity is probably only 4Ah.

I've just dissembled a 1200A jump starter as the electronics broke. The battery was a Fullriver AGM DC26-12 (26Ah - 12V) that I've now installed in the van beside my house battery.

I started out trying to use the jump starter as backup to my Engel but the charging electronics stopped working. I don't have a vehicle to use the 1200A as the Ranger needs something much bigger so dissembling the 1200A was not a big deal. However, I'm still looking at using the DC26-12 in the old jump starter case that can be used separately or with my house battery.

Just watch A vs mA. 15000mA is only 15A so I'm guessing the battery has a very small Ah rating as Dorian noted. My 80cc scooter starts on a 12V / 3.8Ah hour battery so it's not physically big. 750cc bike needs a 14Ah, 1600cc needs 20 and a 1000cc needs 24. A car has much more so I'm guessing a large capacity, high compression engine needs a big sucker. I also have a 600A jump starter that will only start my scooter. Won't start anything else. Jumper bike-bike rather than use jump starter.
