Just my rotten luck !!

It's been one of those days for me today,

First thing this morning SWMBO wanted to go to Bunnings for some plants and fertilizer, One look at the sky and I said, we had better get a wriggle on as they were forecasting rain and a possible thunder storm here in Perth today,

So we hit the road and about two km from home, "Bang" there goes the back tyre in my patrol, just my "flammin luck", we recently travelled right around the Block, something like 30.000 km and not a bit of trouble, now here we are, a stone throw from home and stuck on the side of the highway, well we weren't stuck very long with the first spots of rain, from a very black sky, I had that wheel off and on went the spare, ( luckily still inflated after 6 months )  it didn't take long before we were on our way again but, wondering if the Pension would allow me to buy a new tyre next fortnight.

I grabbed the goods from Bunnings and headed home, after getting home, the Dear-one decided to do some washing, five minutes later there is a scream from the laundry, racing out the back I find the missis hauling the washing out of the now dead washing machine, the inner bowl had come a-drift and had nearly  come through the casing of the machine,!!!

Back into the Nissan up the road ( with-out a spare ) past Bunnings to a washing machine shop,  now back home again with a new machine and $350.00 ( after a hard fought discount )  poorer,

They say bad luck comes in three's,  hmmhmmhmm  Sure hope that is only a saying confuseconfuseconfuse

kiwijims, If that is your worst dream this week, you are having a good week. Tell the Misses that the next time you scream Bugger in your sleep, it is time to make you a cup of coffee.

Thanks for all the good thoughts Fella's,  LOL

Hey Jim thinks I'll get the Flu next, Thanks a lot Jim. cry

Then Young Simmo reckons the Missis will wake from a deep sleep, to make me a cup of Coffee,  "JEEZ" Mate, if she did, it would be the first time in 42 years of Marriage, !!! That Gal can sleep through a Cyclone as she has proved in the past, crycry

Yep, A rather expensive Washing Board, Aus-Kiwi, I did make the suggestion that she could try and wash like the Maori used to, on a big flat stone in the river,  I was told of my Heritage pretty quickly and what I could do with that as well, Don't know, no cense of humour, these "Aussie Chicks ".  And "Yep" the tyre is buggered, a dirty great v shaped split on the inside wall, doesn't pay to buy second hand tyres, only had the rear tyres on for a couple of months. !!  not at all like the front two, which I bought up in Bowen Qld six years ago and still only half worn, mind you, they cost me $500.00 back then, but still worth every Cent.

"Ah Well" roll on next Pension Day, and the one after that, looks like our trip down South for Christmas, will be put on hold for a while now. ##%$&  furiousfuriousfuriousfurious
