Unknown Pop Top Make/Model

Hi, I am restoring this pop top camper but have no idea about what make or model it is. Can anyone help me identify what it is?

Welcome to the gang Capri1974, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Sorry, never seen one of those before but it looks very much like a home made job and more than likely many memories had with it. Hope you make many as well.

Very interesting support mechanism biggrin A lot of thought in design went into that for sure biggrin

Keep Safe on the roads.

Home made - looks like whoever did it had access to some patterns from a boat builder to get to cabin entry with door and perhaps the roof is from a fly-bridge pattern.

Hi Murray

To me it looks like a early Classic motor bike trailer

What was modified as a camper

You can always contact them

Howdy Capri1974,  Welcome to the Forum,  You have a rather un-usual Camper there, could be one of a kind but,

It may be known if you were to post a picture on this Forum which belongs to the Classic Caravans Group of Australia...........

http://ditzygypsy.proboards.com/

If no luck there, then give this Mob a go.............. http://vintagecaravans.proboards.com/

I am sure that if anyone knows about your camper on either of these forums, they will soon let you know.

Best o luck.             K.J.

Interesting. It appears to be hard top. There would be a lot of good ideas out there, that never made it to production, or just one ofs. It might be an A-van, mach 1. Cheers Pete
